The PEOPLE project has completed its first year. After the kick-off meeting in October 2019 and subsequent preparations (ethical approvals, randomization,…), the clinical trial started recruitment in the Comoros in January 2019. In Madagascar, recruitment in Miandrivazo district started in February 2019.

Final PEOPLE consortium meeting in Madagascar

After 2 years of online meetings due to Covid, the PEOPLE consortium will get together one last time in Madagascar at the beginning of October this year to exchange data and results and see how the project can be brought to a successful end in February 2023.
